underwhelming experience despite good location

small room odd bathroom placement

I was a little disappointed with the experience. the room felt smaller than expected, especially considering i booked a beautiful option. the bathroom was oddly placed, almost right next to the bed, so privacy was limited. also, natural light was scarce. A small, strangely positioned window barely illuminated the space. these issues impacted my overall comfort.

The location was very convenient for transport links. I really liked the decor in the room. It felt modern and fresh.

the bed was indeed comfy. sky channels were available on the tv. i had easy access to piccadilly train station.

i suffered a lack of hot water. i could not enjoy a decent shower in the morning. i found it quite a big deal.

Rooms on the first floor suffered from considerable street noise. This was slightly disruptive!

Acceptable, but with a snag

the room itself had good facilities including a mini fridge, iron, and hair dryer.

The tv did not work, and main channels were unavailable. I reported this multiple times, but staff didn't fix it. one offered me half price breakfast. it felt patronising considering the core issue wasn't addressed.

I loved that my room was clean. i also appreciated the modern facilities throughout the hotel. the breakfast was good. It provided a great start to my day.

the elevator seemed very busy sometimes, so there was a slight wait.

location near manchester piccadilly station was very convenient. the breakfast featured attentive staff plus a good menu of custom-made options along with a buffet selection. my room had a balcony so opening the door for fresh air was nice. i would happily stay again.

i arrived early evening to get changed for a night out but found there was no water.
